1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the Android application NotiBrain provided by Bitterborn Labs.

NotiBrain uses Android notification access to analyze notifications received on an Android device and restructure them into work briefings with action, deadline, category, and priority.

2. Core Principles

In default local mode, NotiBrain does not send notification content off-device.

Notification summaries, classification, and priority assessment run in the local device environment.

NotiBrain uses network communications as needed for licensing, billing, model catalog checks, model downloads, configuration files, and app diagnostics. Notification content is not included in these service communications.

3. Notification Access Permission

NotiBrain uses Android notification access permission. This permission is used within the following purpose scope.

  1. Reading the title, content, source app, and received time of incoming notifications
  2. Creating notification summaries
  3. Assessing notification importance and priority
  4. Applying user-defined filter policies
  5. Displaying the archive and notification history

You can revoke notification access at any time in Android system settings. Once revoked, NotiBrain cannot read or analyze new notifications.

4. On-Device Analysis

In default local mode, NotiBrain analyzes notifications using an on-device model.

In this mode, notification content, source app name, generated summaries, and rationale are not sent to Bitterborn Labs servers for AI processing.

You can delete local data by uninstalling the app, clearing Android app data, or deleting records inside the app.

5. External AI Model Setting and Gemini BYOK

Notification text is processed through the Google Gemini API only when you manually enter a Gemini API Key and enable the external AI model setting.

The Gemini API Key you enter is stored on the device as an app setting and is not sent to Bitterborn Labs servers.

When this feature is enabled, Google’s terms, privacy policy, and data processing policies apply.

6. Subscription and Payment Information

NotiBrain subscriptions and payments are managed through Google Play Billing.

Payment card numbers and financial information are processed within Google Play Billing. Bitterborn Labs does not collect or store full payment card numbers, payment account information, or payment passwords.

The app may use Google Play Billing information for the following purposes.

  1. Verifying subscription status
  2. Checking the 7-day real-world validation period
  3. Checking purchase eligibility and Pro feature access
  4. Restoring purchases

7. Install Referrer and Invitation Codes

NotiBrain checks Google Play Install Referrer information to recognize invitation codes, verify campaign-based installs, and process entry into real-world validation.

The Install Referrer value is a string used to identify which link led to the app installation.

This communication does not include sensitive personal content such as notification content, message content, contacts, files, or photos.

8. Remote Configuration and Model Catalog

NotiBrain may access static configuration files on Cloudflare R2 as needed to retrieve app settings, invitation code status, and model lists.

These requests do not include notification content or message content.

On-device model files may be downloaded from external model hosting services, and those requests do not include notification content.

9. Data Stored or Processed on the Device

NotiBrain may store or process the following data on the device to provide its features.

  1. Notification title
  2. Notification content
  3. Source app name
  4. Notification received time
  5. Notification category and importance
  6. User-defined profiles and filter policies
  7. App settings
  8. Subscription entitlement status
  9. Install Referrer string
  10. Gemini API Key entered by the user

In default local mode, notification content is not sent off-device. If you manually enter a Gemini API Key and enable the external AI model setting, notification text is processed through the Google Gemini API.

10. Third-Party Services

NotiBrain may use the following third-party services to provide its features.

  1. Google Play Billing — subscription payment, validation period, and purchase status checks
  2. Google Play Install Referrer — install source and invitation code checks
  3. Google Gemini API — notification text processing only when the user registers a Gemini API Key and enables the external AI model setting
  4. Cloudflare R2 — static configuration files, model catalog, and invitation code status
  5. External model hosting services — on-device model file downloads

Bitterborn Labs does not sell notification content for advertising or marketing purposes.

11. Analytics SDKs and Tracking

For the B2B build, NotiBrain does not include advertising SDKs, behavioral analytics SDKs, or email tracking pixels in the app configuration for user behavior tracking.

Minimal system logs required for app security and stability may be processed by the Android device or Google Play environment.

12. Data Retention and Deletion

NotiBrain does not operate a separate central account server. Therefore, NotiBrain does not provide a separate NotiBrain account withdrawal process. Local data can be deleted through the user’s device or app-level features.
